Russian defense enterprise Rostec launched production of the newest self-propelled guns Koalitsia-SV even before the completion of all the tests due to their great importance for the special military operation, the first deputy director general of the state corporation Vladimir Artyakov told RIA Novosti on August 10.
“Serial production, as well as the production of the transport and loading machine, has already been started,” Artyakov said. At the same time, all necessary tests of the unit will be completed this year.
Koalitsia-SV self-propelled gun is capable of hitting targets at a range of 70 kilometers, which is significantly superior to similar artillery equipment of NATO member-states.
On August 8, the leader of the Essence of Time social movement Sergey Kurginyan called for an early increase in the production of self-propelled guns Koalitsia-SV in his author’s program Destiny. Sergey Kurginyan believes that it will make it possible to win in the counter-battery battle, thanks to the high operational range of 70 km.
